Esto de Juntar Flores (2025)

Esto de Juntar Flores is a short film that explores the love for flowers and the desire to collect them, tracing the expansion of the Dutch tulip industry into Chile. Shot in the Flowering Desert, in Lisse and Hoorn (the Netherlands), and including footage from the Tulip Day in Chile in 2024, the film investigates how certain Dutch colonial values persist today through neoliberal extractivist practices in Chile. +

Claveles del Aire (Air Carnations) (2021)

The film portrays the return to home and encounter with lost memories, looking at air carnations as a powerful metaphor for growth and resilience in womanhood. Claveles del Aire explores the possibilities of filmmaking to weave different perspectives through the editing process. This intimate portrait weaves together personal and family narratives, revealing layers of identity, memory, and womanhood, much like the intricate and chaotic garden in her mother’s house. +

The Blue Hour (2018)

My mother’s attempted suicide a few years ago was a reminder of her vulnerability and the constant fragility of life. The Blue Hour is that lingering, vague feeling, after the sun is gone but before complete darkness. This project is a reflection of those silent in between moments often overlooked that add beauty to solitude. +
